It was a perfect day for boating and swimming in the lake. We all had a great day!

The Day Dee Almost Drowned

Dee had never tubed before and she was brave enough to try it. We told Dee that she should take her glasses off, but she was pretty sure they would stay on if she was tossed off the tube. Poor Dee was knocked off the tube and had the wind knocked out her. She was laying on her back and not moving. It scared us pretty bad, and she couldn't answer us right away because of the water she had swallowed. But praise the Lord, she was alright and not hurt. She did loose her glasses, but thankfully they were an old pair and she had another pair in her van.

Huckleberry Picking

We went huckleberry picking with Dee Cook and her kids, Savannah & Cody, and Klint Minnamier. We all came back with about 1 gallon each.

Our friend Lee let me and Bradi ride his horse. It has been over 17 years since I have been on a horse, and it felt like it was yesterday.
