Bradi's 12th Birthday Party at Triple Play

Bradi had her 12th birthday party at Triple Play the day after Thanksgiving! Her closest friends, Tressanna, Shelby, Charity and her sister Michelle attended.

They all had a blast! Last year they couldn't go on the go-carts because of the weather, and they just barely sqweeked by this year. It started snowing soon after they got done riding the go-carts.

Thanksgiving

This was one of the best Thanksgiving's ever!

Toni-Ann and Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards) came up from San Diego and we all got to spend Thanksgiving with them. What a blessing that was.

Everything went smooth! Kristi helped me in the kitchen during the last minuet crunch when it seems that everything was getting done at the same time.

Lisa made a new recipe for the green bean casserole and it was a hit! Lisa and Bobby's new baby, Cameron is such a cutey. I had fun holding him, he is so sweet.

Amy did a great job on the deserts. The pumpkin pie was my favorite, although her apple pie and cheese cake were great also.

Kristi made a green jello dish that I just love, and she also made her famous sweet potatoes.

Bradi and her Granny made the appetizers.

Granny was the hit of our Thanksgiving Day with all the beautiful scarfs she brought for everybody!

2008 Faith Baptist Women's Retreat

We had a blast at the Faith Baptist Women's Retreat. I got a lot out of it. I am going to put God back on the throne, where he belongs! Sydna won the grand prize, Free Registration to the next retreat. Enjoy the photos!

Labor Day Weekend

Sydna, Klint, and Betty came to spend the night at our cabin Sunday night. Jeff and Brenda were there for the whole weekend. We had a great quad ride with just us girls. Later that day Jeff took Klint and Bradi on a very muddy ride.

Michelle riding Steve's Motorcycle

Michelle's motorcycle was having some problems, so Steve let her ride his motorcycle. Michelle did very well, she is a natural.

Moose's first time in the lake

We tried to get Moose to swim in the lake, but he wasn't going to have anything to do with that. All he would tolerate was having his legs in the water, but nothing more than that.

Can You Hear Me Now?

Juliet's Visit

Our friend Juliet came for a visit for a few days during our vacation. We took her boating and quading. We had a great time with her while she was here.

Bradi's Booger

Boating at last!!

We were able to enjoy a few days of boating with our boat this summer. The motor is still giving us some problems, but at least we were able to use the boat for part of our vacation. We had a few days of rain that prevented us from boating every day. This tube that we have is totally awesome!

Bradi's Tree House

We spent a whole week at our cabin, and Steve & Bradi worked hard on the tree house almost every day. We had a scary incident when Bradi fell through the trap door before Steve had finished cutting it out. She was very fortunate that she didn't fall to the ground and was able to hang on the opening until Steve was able to rescue her. She got some pretty serious bruises.

Swim Time!

We had Jackie and her girls, and Cindy and Carter over for a swim. Carter wouldn't get near the water. Jackie's girls were like little fish.

Huckleberry Pickin'

We went for a ride to Mystic Lake, and on the way Steve decided to look for huckleberries on the side of the road. We found tons of them - over 10 cups. We had a great afternoon that day! Afterwards, I made a Huckleberry Crisp and it was good!

Almost Drowned Mouse

This poor little mouse sat on the top rung of our pool ladder with it's nose barely out of the water. I don't know how long it was there... but it couldn't have lasted much longer. Thank goodness Steve saw it when he was skimming the pool in the morning. After Steve caught it, he set it down on the ground and the poor mouse couldn't move. It looked like it was going to die. Bradi brought it in the house and put it in a warm sock, and by the afternoon it was almost recovered. Of course, we have made a pet out of it now. Her name is Lou Lou. She is living happily in a big cage in Bradi's room.
